Music festival returns to Driftwood

Vista Brewing hosted its third annual Outside the City Limits Festival in Driftwood this past weekend.

The festival featured live music from 1–8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 30, with a lineup of local Austin talent performing across two different stages. Artists included headliners The Deer, Buffalo Hunt and Motenko, as well as Stone Wheels, Jomo & The Possum Posse and Sour Bridges. Food, Vista beer, Texas wines and ciders, non-alcoholic beverages and other merchandise were available for purchase throughout the event.

Vista partnered with multiple local brands and organizations to bring fun activities to the festival. Throughout Vista's 21-acre property, attendees were able to:

• learn about Vista’s farm, Texas wildflowers and take home a “seed bomb” swing under the live oaks in the Kammok Hammock Grove

• play cornhole in the Tupelo Goods Game Zone

• browse a pop-up market with a selection of local vendors curated by Curio Caravan

• bring leashed dogs to the Divine Canines Watering Hole for a drink

Vista also continued its partnership with the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians during OCL. Guests could stop by HAAM’s table to chat with “HAAMbassadors” about how their organization supports low-cost healthcare for Texas musicians.

Vista Brewing is a destination brewery in Driftwood, including a tasting room, farm-totable restaurant, one-acre farm, apiary, live music and multiple private event spaces. Learn more at vistabrewingtx.com or on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
