Dripping Springs Wild Game dinner rescheduled

The 31st annual Wild Game Dinner has been rescheduled to March 6 from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the Dripping Springs United Methodist Church. Originally, the event was scheduled for Feb. 20, but due to the extreme winter weather, the event was postponed. Event organizers have now decided to offer the meals free of charge.

“Many are struggling, and we want to help,” said Chair Tori Brown in an email update. “In response, we have decided to change this year's event to directly meet the needs of the community. Now when you go to dswildgamedinner.com you will be able to place your order for family-style meals free of charge. If, perhaps, your needs are not dire and you can spare a donation, we still welcome your financial help. All the money we raise above the cost of providing free food for the community will be put immediately to work in the Dripping Springs area just as the Wild Game Dinner has done for 30 years.”

In addition to ordering dinner, the community can also support the fundraiser by purchasing raffle tickets or making donations. The Dripping Springs Wild Game Dinner is one of the oldest and largest fundraising events in the region. Proceeds benefit charities in Dripping Springs and Hays County.
