HD-45 Texas House Republican Forum
A The North Hays Republican Group will host a forum featuring the Republican primary candidates for the Texas House, District 45, on Sunday Feb. 9th, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Church of the Springs, 230 Sports Park Road. Candidates participating in the forum are Carrie Isaac, Austin Talley, and Bud Wymore. The event will be moderated by Mr. Patrick Reznick of Dripping Springs.

Science Mill Homeschool Day on Engineering

The Westcave Outdoor Discovery Center will host a “Star Party,” on Saturday Feb. 15, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. “Enjoy an evening of star gazing through a high-quality telescope with local astronomers on hand to answer questions. Democratic Candidate Forum
A coalition of Democratic groups will host a 2020 Democrat primary candidate forum on Sunday Feb. 26, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Wimberley Community Center, 14068 Ranch Road 12, in Wimberley. The event will include Democrats candidates seeking election to various levels of government from local, to state, to federal.

Primary Voting
The primary election for both Democrats and Republican parties will be on Tuesday Mar. 3. Early voting will begin on Tuesday Feb. 18, and end on Friday Feb. 28. The last to register to vote in the primary is Monday Feb. 3.

Burke Center Mad Hatters Gala
The Burke Center for Youth will hold its “Mad Hatters Gala” on Saturday Apr. 4 at HHS, 12495 Silver Creek Road. “Journey down the rabbit hole for a night to remember with dinner, drinks, a live auction, and great entertainment.” Proceeds will be used to buy furniture for the new dormitory at the Burke Center.
