Every Wednesday at the Triangle (Hwy. 290 and RR 12) in Dripping Springs from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Tween Scene

The City of Dripping Springs Parks and Community Services hosts Tween Scene at Dripping Springs Ranch Park's Event Center. Pay the drop in fee of $5 and enjoy music, board games, movies, and more. Participants are encouraged to bring their roller blades or roller skates for roller rink style fun. This program is strictly for youth between the ages of 9 & 14. Parks & Community staff will be present to chaperone.

Drip Skate Night

Skate Night is a free drop-in program held every Thursday night at Dripping Springs Ranch Park's Event Center from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Limited number of participants permitted. All must pre-register at signupgenius.com/go/904054fafae2caafe3-dripping.

Storytime with Miss Julieta

Weekly story times for the preschool crowd ages 3 and older will feature great animal stories during the summer. The theme of Tails and Tales will be seen in the books, songs, and activities. A DIY bag will also be available. 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. outside in the circle at the Dripping Springs Community Library.

Wild Edible Plants of DS: Live Walkabout at the Library

Join Mark "Merriwether" Vorderbruggen in a live walkabout at the library grounds identifying the wild edible plants of Dripping Springs. Mark will also be doing a separate Zoom lecture on the subject at Noon the same day. 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Outside - Rear Parking Lot at 501 Sportsplex Dr., Dripping Springs , TX, 78620. Wimberley Market Days

The Wimberley Lions Club announced Wimberley Market Day will be held on Saturday, August 7 in Wimberley from 7-4 p.m. About 400 vendors are expected to show their unique items. Admission is free. To learn more, visit wimberleymarketday.com/.

The League of Women Voters: Voter Registration Table

The League of Women Voters Hays County, a nonpartisan group, will host a weekly Voter Registration and Services Table on the Library Porch during August. League members will be available to register voters and answer questions on Tuesday afternoons, 3:30-6:30 pm.

Bark in the Park

Show your dog some love and bring them out to Founders Park for some end of summer fun! This event is free to all. Some of the activities include: Puppy Plunge @ Founders Pool (register at bit.ly/puppyplunge2021); toys, treats, and prizes; free puppuccinos by Kate's Soft Serve; PAWS Shelter of Central Texas; movie in the park - A Dog's Purpose *Picnics are encouraged! Movie starts at 8:30p.m.
