Outdoor Movie at Dripping Springs Community Library

8:30 -10:30 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs for a movie in the back parking lot. Snacks and drinks will be provided, but guests can bring their own. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. DSCL will be showing Free Willy. A juvenile delinquent is placed in a new foster home and must complete community service at the marine mammal theme park that he vandalized. He soon befriends a young wild orca who was separated from his pod by the park owners and may be in danger of dying. Rated PG for some mild language. 1hr 52min

July 3

Fire in the Sky

Dripping Springs Fire in the Sky is a free annual Independence Day professional fireworks show brought to you by Jason and Carrie Isaac. Held at Hog Heaven, the event raises money for veterans and first responders. Food trucks will be on the grounds. The event gets underway at 7 p.m.

Veterans Summer Job Fair

Workforce Solutions Rural Capital Areais joining with its partners at the Texas Veterans Commission & Texas Workforce Commission to host the 2021 Veterans Summer Job Fair, an in-person and virtual hiring event for military veterans and their families, on Thursday, July 15, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., at the Kalahari Resorts Texas in Round Rock.

July 17

Bluegrass and BBQ

Hosted by Life Dripping Springs at 6:30 p.m. on the grounds of their new property at 10651 Darden Hill Rd. Join them for a free concert with bluegrass band Chosen Road. Other activities include kids pony rides, petting zoo, face painting, bounce houses, Kona Ice truck and Pig Pen BBQ.

Summer Sizzle Dressage Show
