Flags at Phillips Cemetery
The local VFW Post 2933 and American Legion Post 290 members and families will be putting out small U.S. flags on the graves of veterans. Boy/Girl Scouts, families and residents are invited to help. The group will have small flags available for everyone. Meet at or near the Flagpole at 9 a.m. at Phillips Cemetery near the intersection of RR12 and FM 150.

Bluegrass and BBQ
Join Life Dripping Springs for an evening of "Bluegrass & BBQ" for the family featuring special guests, Chosen Road. Fun activities for kids hosted by LifeKids! This is a free event at the church’s new property at 10651 Darden Hill Rd. Bring your own lawn chairs and blankets

Treaty Oak Smoke + Mash
This all-day event will include a BBQ expo with offerings from the barbecue experts at Alice’s Restaurant, World Barbecue Champion pitmaster Tuffy Stone, third generation barbecuer Sam Jones and award-winning pitmaster Moe Cason. Guests will be able to purchase $5 tickets, which can each be exchanged for a small barbecue plate from the vendor(s) of their choice. Hill Country Farmers Market
A new weekend Farmers Market in Dripping Springs, opened in May with a wide selection of locally grown produce, meats, specialty foods, and artisan crafts. The market is open Sundays from 10am to 2pm on the grounds of Dreamland. www.hillcountryfarmersmarket.com.
