Local Election Day

Dripping Springs City Council and the DSISD Board of Trustees each have three spots to fill. You can view profiles of the candidates in each race by visiting drippingspringsnews.com. Voters can vote between 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Dripping Springs City Hall at 511 Mercer St. or Hays County Precinct 4 Office at 195 Roger Hanks Parkway.

May 1

DreamFest

Dreamland presents its inaugural music and arts festival. The family-friendly event, which will take place from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., will be free to attend and open to the public. In addition to the musical performances, DreamFest will host theRedbud Artisan Market & Art Festival during the event.

May 3

Dripping Springs Community Library

The DSCL will reopen indoors to the public. Continue to schedule computer, fax, and copier use by calling ahead. Limited seating available first come, first served. The children’s play areas will remain closed. The meeting room is available for limited numbers according to distancing.

May 8

Maskarade and Ball Gala

Hill Country Rally for Kids hosts its 14th annual gala to raise awareness and fund children’s charities on the hill country. For more information, visit www.hcrally.com.
