‘Family and Friends’ Art Show set for Oct. 30

The community is invited to a private showing of sculpture and art in the garden and studio of Cypress Fork Ranch Saturday, Oct. 30, 10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

“We have a group of family and friends who would like to display their work for the enjoyment of the community,” said Doyle Fellers, sculptor and artist. “Our city has a large number of sculptors and painters,” he said, and our goal is to help Dripping Springs secure a position and place in the cultural arts.”

Participating sculptors are Phil Hoggatt, owner of Carved Stone and well known for his stone sculptures, Wayne Rossie who is known for his crafted steel works, Michele Hoggatt who will display special selections, and Fellers, whose large stone and steel creations are also on display at Worrell Gallery in Santa Fe.

More than 50 paintings will be on view with art styles including “abstract expressionism” by Cammy Jones, “minimalistic slice of life” by Hamilton Jones, “modern/abstract” by Catherine Pagel and “free flow” by Fellers.

“Fellers Family and Friends” Art Show will be open without charge from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Cypress Fork Ranch is located at 1300 Creek Road, approximately one mile from Highway 290.
