The cross country teams at Dripping Springs High School traveled to Marble Falls to participate in the Leo Manzano Invitation in their final tuneup before district.
A sluggish first half that included big penalties and a couple of interceptions that saw Dripping Springs High School going into halftime with a slim 14-12 halftime lead was saved by another top notch defensive effort this past weekend.
Lake Travis High School got the jump on the Dripping Springs High School Lady Tigers in their first district meeting and came away with a 3-1 advantage.
With one meet to go before district, the Dripping Springs High School cross country teams entered the toughest meet of the year.
