Dripping Springs High School’s battle in the volleyball wars with Lake Travis High School had little significance in the playoff picture, only pride. However, pride is enough when it comes to these two.
The 1973 Dripping Springs High School District 29A football champions were honored in pregame activities last Friday, marking the 50th anniversary of the accomplishment.
It was another colossal battle of titans when Westlake and Dripping Springs HIgh Schools matched up for the district title last weekend.
Westlake High School likely spoiled the Lady Tigers volleyball team’s district chances, downing Dripping Springs High School 3-1.
