Chamber CEO graduates from national leadership training program
Institute for Organization Management, the professional development program of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, is pleased to announce that Susan Kimball, IOM, President/CEO, of the Dripping Springs Chamber of Commerce, has graduated from the program and has received the recognition of IOM. Awarded to all graduates of the Institute program, the IOM Graduate Recognition signifies the individual’s completion of 96 credit hours of course instruction in non-profit management. In addition, participants can earn credit hours towards the Certified Chamber Executive (CCE) or Certified Association Executive (CAE), certifications. DS soccer teams flexing their muscle
The two state-ranked Dripping Springs soccer teams continue to dominate their opposition and give indication they will have to be dealt with again this season. In the world of soccer, scores usually are hard to come by. If teams score more than twice it usually means that team is really good or they are playing much weaker teams. We choose very good. Hat tricks (scoring three or more goals in a game) by players are becoming common. Each of the two teams won their respective tourneys with ease, including their district openers with Hays Johnson. Seldom do sports teams get judged by the beauty of their games played, only wins count. Unfortunately the Tiger basketball team played in an ugly contest with league-leading Boerne Champion but still could not win ugly. The creative work of 25 Dripping Springs Independent School District students has been honored by the DSISD Council of PTAs in the 2021–2022 National PTA Reflections program.
