Softball claims district title

The Lady Tigers played it close to the vest as they clinched first place in district. The Lady Tigers scored four in the first to solidify their 7-0 victory over Lehman. They would also open with four in the game with Seguin. However, the Lady Matadors did not let them off the hook that easily. They would go ahead 6-5 in the third with a five-spot. The game was tied at 7-7 in the fourth and the Lady Tigers pushed across the winning run in the sixth. The final district game was with Kerrville. A 5-1 win that avenged an earlier loss.
