2019 Texas Master Naturalist Program Registration
Registration for the Hays County Master Naturalist Class for 2019 opens from Nov. 26 to Jan.

Applications can be downloaded from the Hays County Master Naturalist website: haysmn.org beginning Nov. 26. “As a Master Naturalist, you can join a corps of volunteers dedicated to learning about the beneficial management of our natural resources and natural areas. Students and graduates of this program volunteer for more than 50 projects around Hays County.”

Native Americans talk on Sacred Springs
The Dripping Springs Community Library will hold a presentation by Dr. Mario Garza on Native American culture on Thursday Nov. 29, from 6:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. Dr. Garza will present a thought-provoking account of the Coahuiltecan people who consider the San Marcos River headwaters as their origination site. Redbud Artisan Market
Redbud Artisan Market will hold a holiday show on Saturday December 1, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Sunday December 2, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Dripping Springs Ranch Park, 1042 Event Center Drive. The indoor show will feature unique handmade art and craft from over 60 Texas artisans, as well as live music, and food by Space Cowboy Catering, and wine from Austin Custom Winery and Red Road Winery. Celebrate the magic of the holidays on Mercer Street in downtown historical Dripping Springs from 10 am - 5:00 pm. The 2ndAnnual Arrowhead Ranch Winter Bazaar will take place on Saturday Dec. 8, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Arrowhead Ranch. “Shop for unique gifts from over 30 vendors, including Hill Country Décor, Younique, Young Living, and many more.” Donations will be accepted for the “Toy for Tots Toy Drive for Marine Families,” and Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas. “Pictures with Santa” will be available from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the model home, 110 Topaz Circle.
