RED Arena returns to Dripping Springs Ranch Park on June 1 and 2, for its eighth annual Wine-Up and Round-Up fundraiser.

RED stands for Riding Equines for the Disabled, and the non-profit holds the “mission of empowering individuals with disabilities through a unique combination of horses and therapies.”

RED Arena is a place that offers hope. RED stands for Riding Equines for the Disabled, and although there are horses everywhere, it is not a riding stable. What goes on there is much more important. The 501(c) 3 non-profit, under the supervision of licensed therapists, offer help for individuals with mental and physical disabilities and using horses is one of the main parts of the therapy.

RED Arena’s big fundraiser, called Round Up, is coming up on the weekend of June 2 and 3, to the Dripping Springs Ranch Park covered arena, and all sorts of fun will be had.

“When we started the Round-Up 7 years ago, we envisioned it as a day that gave our riders a chance to shine while bringing the community of Dripping Springs together,” said RED Arena founder and Physical Therapist Jennifer Young, “Now, 7 years later, it continues to surpass our expectations.”
