Sycamore Springs Middle School Basketball

The Sycamore Springs MS basketball teams played Hudson Bend. The girls took three of their four games while the boys split their four.

Girls:

8A: Won 26-18. Scorers: Ambria Rupp 6, Taylor Tjelmeland 4, Audrey Edwards 4, Makynna Hubbard 4, Linan Scott 3, Hannah Gomez 2, Jordan Cox 2, Erin Hector

8B: Won 23-12. Scorers: Ashtyn Owens 6, Finley Grona 4, Meaghan Neibrig 4, Hailey Jarvis 3, Emma Bennett 2, Mia Perez 2, Remi Wilkerson 2.

8B vs Lake Travis: Lost 18-17. Scorers: Bennett 7, Owens 4, Tressler 2, Jarvis 2, Neibrig

7A: Won 27-19. Scorers: Kaleigh Howell 12, Presley Alford 11, McKenzie Moore 2, Avery Kiem 2.

7B: Lost 19-11. Scorers: Jaiden Tankard 6, Giselle Mikos 2, Gabbi Arra 2, Hannah Pajak 1.

7B vs LT: Lost 42-6. Scorers: Mikos 4, Emmerson Martinez

Boys:

8A: Won 35-23. Built up a 21-8 lead at the half. Some of the scorers were Greyson Jones 14, Josh Oliphant 12 and Taden Frickle 4.

8B: Won 30-27. It took a 5-2 margin in OT to gain the win. Kade Curry and Wyland Diehl each had 8 points to lead the way.

7A: Lost 31-16. HB started fast and piled up a 24-7 lead at half. Scorers: Luca Picucci 10, Case Holcomb 2, Jaxon Coffield 2, Carson Brudnicki 2.

7B: Lost 33-29. It was a close match all the way but a late rally fell short. Some of the scorers were Chase Johnson 8, David Gonzalez 5 and Owen Davis 4.
