This time it was the Leander Volleypalooza with some of the best teams in the state providing the competition. In that three-week period the Lady Tigers have played 31 matches compiling a 21-10 record.

After this week, the Lady Tigers volleyball team will have to settle down to a ho-hum two matches a week. This time it was the Leander Volleypalooza with some of the best teams in the state providing the competition. In that three-week period the Lady Tigers have played 31 matches compiling a 21-10 record.

Copperas Cove came to town and left with a defeat and then it was a short hop over to Leander. It was the second day again that would put the Lady Tigers in the Silver Bracket for the final day. They made their way to the finals of the Silver Bracket but were turned back for second place.

Tourney results: Sorry but did not get any stats for the tourney in time for this article. However, a parent at the tourney supplied me with some information. He reported that the Lady Tigers played very well against some very good teams. MacKenzie Murray, Sarah Nading and Avery Kalsu, all seniors, led the team with their leadership and play. He surmised the Mansfield game was the best of all played. Very close all the way. Murray had 13 kills, Maddie Lund 6 and Annabelle Crowder 6. Nicole played well from her libero position.
