Tiger Golf jumps into frying pan

The Tigers varsity golf team really jumped into the frying pan when they entered the 54-hole tourney sponsored by Lake Travis and known as the Shootout at the Lake. It was played at the Roy Kizer and Jimmy Clay courses (Kizer-Clay-Kizer). Some of the very best programs in the state were in attendance which included Lake Travis, Westlake, Vandegrift, Highland Park, Lubbock Cooper and Houston Memorial. There were 13 schools with a total of 17 teams. The Tigers placed 15thoverall.

The JV boys played in the Westlake JV tourney held at the Lions Municipal course. Coy Needham 86; Aaron Gangoso 90; Addison Jetter 91; Allen Ferno 97; Jackson Browning 107. Team: 364.
