Lockhart proved to be troublesome as the Tigers would carve out 3-0 and 9-2 wins.

The big showdown with McCallum occurs this week as the Tigers were able to take a couple of victories from Lockhart and leave them one-game behind the Knights in district play. The Tigers will have to take both games to take over the lead with only two games with Reagan remaining next week.

Lockhart proved to be troublesome as the Tigers would carve out 3-0 and 9-2 wins. In the first game DS scored single runs in the second, third and fifth for their margin of victory. Chris Tyree singled and Nico Ramirez drove him in with a double for the first. Ryan Davenport walked, stole second, advanced on a fly to third before Zach Tjelmeland hit a sac fly. It was a duplicate in the fifth except Davenport singled to get on.

Lockhart opened scoring in the second game with a homerun and added another run in the second with an error and two hits for their total. In the second the Tigers batted around, getting their three runs as RJ Cabela doubled, Ty Kaatz singled and homerun by Nick Gullo. It was even better in the third as two walks, an error and single pushed in four runs. The icing on the cake in the seventh came on Gullo's second homerun with Cabela aboard.
