The coronavirus played havoc with the Dripping Springs baseball tourney but the Tigers made lemonade out of the lemons as they were able to schedule the five games they would have gotten to play anyway. By Friday of the tourney, teams were forced to withdraw because of the virus threat. The two-week hiatus the UIL has imposed on all activities has come at a time when the Tigers were seeing their pitching really come around with strong performances. Hitting continues to struggle but some of that was because the opponents had good pitching performances as well. DS won four of the five, bringing their season record to 7-8.

The Tigers opened with Akins and came away with a 6-1 win. Hays fell 2-1. Lehman put the only loss on the Tigers in a 4-1 score. Pflugerville Weiss was blanked 5-0 and the next day Pflugerville took a 2-1 loss.

DS opened with three runs in the first to get started right with Akins, added another in the second and finished with two in the sixth. In the Hays game, a rarity occurred. The Tigers were no-hit but they ended up winning the game when the bases were loaded on two walks and fielder's choice in the second. Tyler Thrasher scored on a sac bunt by Matt Gustafson and Tyler Puls stole home. The pitching of Zach Tjelmeland and Josh Malcom kept the threats to a minimum.

With Lehman, each team scored their first run in the sixth, but the Lobos used two singles and two doubles in the seventh to push across their other three runs. The big inning with Weiss came in the third. The Tigers used two walks, an error, single, double, triple to carve out their five runs to back the strong pitching of Riley Pyles. The final game was another nailbiter. Control problems early was a part of the Panthers run in the second. Brennan Frickel had a hand in both runs. He had a sac fly in the third to tie it and in the sixth he doubled, stole third and scored on a fielder's choice. Garrett Kane came on in long relief to nail down his victory.
