The Dripping Springs sub-varsity football teams were in action. As has been the case all season, to get all the teams games, different opponents have to be scheduled. The freshman Black team played LaVernia and then both JV teams played New Braunfels Canyon.

The 9thBlack team blanked LaVernia 36-0. The receivers had a big night as Logan Urwiler had two receptions (15 & 39TD), 2-point conversion and a 40 punt return. Also, Steven Lacky had a 40 TD run and Kasey Kopetic had a 19 TD run. On defense the Sedillo brothers reigned supreme. Dylan had 3 tackles, one tackle for loss, a TD interception return and caused a fumble recovered by brother Daniel. Daniel had 2 tackles and caused a fumble.

JV Gold fought to a 12-12 tie. Kaden Preslar broke for a 65 TD run, while teammate Gonzalez Albejar had seven receptions and one TD. The defense was strong. Brandon Cave had 3 interceptions and 3 tackles. Abe Martinez had 11 tackles and one interception. Teammate Conor Kelly contributed seven tackles and one tackle for loss.

The JV Maroon showed what happens when you have a very bad night when you do not block, tackle or score. They were shut out 34-0.
