Rainy weather causes rainouts in adult softball

The oddity of weather patterns have never been more evident than for the adult softball leagues. All through the spring leagues the adult leagues have had to deal with inclement weather, whether in the dodging stage or direct hit stage. The Thursday night league has had to bear the brunt of it. While the women (Monday) and men (Tuesday) only had to reschedule one night during their season, the Thursday night league endured four consecutive nights of rainouts. This disrupted the schedule so much the league just abandoned trying to finish a spring league and started a new summer league schedule. This change, apparently, has not Altered the weather patterns so far. The other leagues have not resumed for summer play.

The Thursday league got in one night of play before another Wednesday night rain threatened another postponement. The fields were forced into shape enough to play on but not before one team decided they did not want to play under the conditions. The other three played their scheduled games for the night. The T-Baggers had their bats rolling on this night and took two wins, a 15-9 win over Sons of Pitches and a 16-0 shutout of Lastros.
