Middle school volleyball teams have mixed results

Both of the DSISD middle schools volleyball teams were in action with varying results. Sycamore Springs took on Lake Travis and Dripping Springs Hill Country. SSMS would stumble slightly as they lost three of their four contests. DSMS was able to sweep Hill Country.

SSMS results: 8A: lost 15-25, 14-25. MVP's were Finley Grona, who played great defense and Natalie Arnold, who had several good blocks. 8B: won 25-16, 25-20. MVP's: The strong serving of Rebekah Johnson, Gracie Hudson and Caroline Siddons. 7A: lost 13-25, 19-25. MVP: The defense of Presley Alford. 7B: lost 8-25, 25-11, 15-25. MVP: Amelie Jetter served 15 straight points.

DSMS results: 8A: won 25-11, 15-25, 25-17. MVP's: Kiera O'Connor, Jesse Bookbinder. 8B: won 25-16, 25-7. MVP's: Rylie Sobeck, Kinley King, Attie Lux. 7A: won 25-11, 25-20. MVP's: Kensly Brown, Ryan Perry. 7B: won 25-10, 25-14. MVP's: Brianna Bone, Carson Crow.
