Middle School Basketball played well in tourney

The two DSMS Lady Tiger A-teams recently entered the San Marcos MS tourney with good results. 8A battled their way to the finals before losing to Boerne South. They would score 16 in the first half and went on to defeat Dahlstrom 18-4. Next round was a 31-9 win over Miller. Boerne South overwhelmed the Lady Tigers 42-24 in the finals.There was no stats available for the championship game. It was much the same for the 7A, except they went on to win their championship. They defeated Dahlstrom 23-2, and Miller 31-5. They defeated Goodnight 23-10 for the title.

Vs Miller: Chloe Fredenburg 10, Avery Dement 6, Harkrider 4, Porter 4, Ely 3, Ava Williamson 2, O'Connor 2.

7A vs Dahlstrom: Isabella Villanueva 8, Kylee Landes 4, Taylor Hodsden 4, Alison Dement 2, Gabrielle Ridenhour 2, Sadie Burnham 2, Madison Mahorsky 1.

Vs Miller: Villanueva 12, Laney Kalsu 6, Burnham 4, Jillian Muckelroy 4, Landes 2, Kenslee Brown 2, Ridenhour 1.

Vs Goodnight: Mahorsky 6, Dement 4, Landes 4, Villanueva 2, Hodsden 2, Ridenhour 2, Burnham 2, Kalsu 1.
