Lady Tigers Soccer All-District Selections

After a season that took the Lady Tigers soccer team to a district championship and all the way to the state semifinals, the District 25-5A All-District selections reflected their success. Also a lesson in voting blocs as not many special awards came the Lady Tigers way.

Special awards: Golden Boot: Sofia Picucci (DS), Mia Gomez (McCallum). District MVP: Delaney Carter (McCallum). Offensive MVP: Sofia Picucci (DS), Julissa Dominguez (Reagan). Defensive MVP: Isabel Ramos (Crockett). Goalie MVP: Sophia Takvorian (LBJ). Midfield MVP: Anissa Cantu (LBJ). Newcomer of the Year: Mia Gomez (McCallum). Coach of Year: Lupe Rodriquez (Crockett), Stephanie Watson (McCallum).

First Team: DS: Zoe Flores, Emma Jones, Caroline Luttrull, Avery Davis. McCallum: Karen Esparza, Ellie Stites, Cynthia Maldonado, Gillian Rashid. LBJ: Jaedin Sosa, Oasis Aguayo. Lockhart: Allison Till, Karleigh Caudillo. Reagan: Ashley Rauda. Lanier: Samantha Mendoza. Crockett: Jessica Acosta. Travis: Tamara Ventura.
