Lady Tiger Volleyball win bracket at Fraulein Tourney

Another busy week of games for the Lady Tiger volleyball team as they played Hays in a regularly-scheduled game before finding their way to New Braunfels for the Fraulein tourney. The Lady Tigers had played Hays in the Pearland tourney and had lost to them. The tables were turned but the two teams could not be more evenly matched.

At the Fraulein Volleyfest in New Braunfels, the Lady Tigers found the going very rough as they went 6-3. After pool play, they were placed in the Silver bracket but came back strong by going 3-0 and winning the bracket. They are looking for and finding very tough opposition. Many are 6A schools but they are trying to get battle-hardened before entering weak district play. After playing Copperas Cove last Tuesday, they will head over to Leander to get into the Volleypalooza tournament starting today.
