Lady Tiger Soccer downs McCallum

The Lady Tigers had their scoreless streak broken but not their one-sided wins as they downed McCallum 7-1 in another district match up. DS scored three goals in the first half and added four more in the second before McCallum would score with less than a minute left.

At the 32.54 mark Sofia Piccuci would score outside the 18 with an assist from Avery Davis. A scant two minutes later (32.14) Piccuci would get her second goal with an assist by Georgia Irons. At 8.38 Grace Hellberg scored from 35 yards away. A big play in the first half at the 22.13 mark goalkeeper Charleigh Phipps recorded a double save by stopping two shots.

It was another quick start for the Lady Tigers as Caroline Luttrull scored (34.00) off of a throw from an assist by Hellberg. Two minutes later Zoe Flores performed a high goal over the goalkeeper with an over head kick, assisted by Piccuci. At 9.39 Elizabeth Driggers scored on a one on one with keeper. It was assisted by Hallie Woodward. The final goal came at 4.01 when Davis scored on a header off the rebound of a corner kick. Emma Jones got the assist with the kick being taken by Melissa Richardson. Another big play came when keeper Eli Jones stopped a one on one with the opponent.

The JV team blanked their McCallum counterpoints 7-0. Scoring for the Lady Tigers were Reagan Logsdon, Nadia Pineda, Faith Wylie, Gracie Green, Vannessa Nalutaaya and Kylie Yardas.
