FOURTH DECADE GAMES

1938: Tigers picked up their third win with a 98-6 victory over Wimberley. Article did not give the number of TD's scored by E.E. Myers but mentioned he gained five to 50 yards on each carry.

1948: JF Glosson scored four TD's, including one on a 78 run, and Billy Rippy had one as the Tigers ran past Kyle 31-12.

1958: St. Mary's of Fredericksburg blanked the Tigers 34-0.

1968: Tigers eased their record out to 3-1 with a 32-6 win over the Comfort Bobcats. Dennis Sansom would hit Jimmy Stigler with TD passes of 18 and 10, while scoring on a 5 run. He rushed for 69 and passed for 89. Chester Kalinowska returned an interception 15 for a score and Randy Garnett scored from the one. Ray Whisenant converted two EP's. Garnett rushed for 136. Joe Williamson caught a pass for 50 yards.

1978: Granger ran the ball for 473 yards enroute to a 32-14 win over the Tigers. Calvin Myers caught passes of 16 and 25 for TD's from Mark Watson. Chris Harvill made the EP's. Watson rushed for 22 and passed for 72. Vern McCarty and James Godwin rushed for 35. Jeff Thurman caught a pass for 14 and returned three KO's for 84. Ray Duvall had 2-27 on KOR.

1988: The Tigers could not hold a 14-9 lead at half as Luling would comeback the second half for a 30-26 win. Todd Reimers bulled over from the two to open scoring. Brett Boydston then hit Charlie Odem for a 16 TD in the half. Boydston scored on a 15 run and hit Michael Myers for a 58 score. James Glass toed two EP's. Boydston passed for 213 and Reimers rushed for 94. Victor Crosswell caught 5-60 and John Russell 2-72.

1998: DS had a balanced attack in downing the Wimberley Texans 27-6. Britt Peterson scored on a 15 run for the first TD. He then hit Matt Hightower for a 6 TD and finished off by hitting Rhett Eickenloff for 64 and 6 yard scores. Russell Cameron kicked three EP's. Peterson passed for 185. Tony Salazar had two punt returns for 17 and two KOR's for 99.

2008: The Tigers overran the Travis Rebels 42-6. Scoring for the Tigers were Chris Smith (9 pass from Jeff Tuck), Heath Petty (68 pass from Jacob Moore), Chris Pennell 2 (12 and 3 runs), Spencer Wood (3 run), Kaleb Syring (2 run). Hayden Fowlkes added all EP's.
