DSHS Volleyball turns to district play

After running the gauntlet of top volleyball tourneys in the state, the Dripping Springs High School Lady Tigers will now turn their attention to the second phase of the season: district play.
Their final tourney was the Leander Volleypalooza from Thursday, Aug. 25, through Saturday, Aug. 27. The tournament was one of the largest in the state with 68 participating teams. The Lady Tigers went 5-3 in the tourney, finding the middle day to be the only one they could not conquer. They opened district play with a pair of wins over Del Valle and Hays Johnson the following week.
