Dripping Springs volleyball splits a pair

The Lady Tigers took the opportunity to use their bye to play one more quality game before taking on Westlake and Lake Travis to decide the district title.

They would schedule one of the best, if not the best, teams in the state: San Antonio’s Cornerstone Christian (55-2). Two of the DSHS losses came at the hands of CC. This one was a close 3-0 match. Previously, the Lady Tigers had an easy 3-0 win over Austin’s Akins High School.

The regular season has four games left. Two will be with Westlake and Lake Travis. In previous meetings, LTHS is 2-0, DSHS is 1-1 and Westlake is 0-2.
