Dripping Springs cross country season begins

The always-strong Dripping Springs High School Cross Country program got their season underway as they usually do, hosting a top-notch meet at the end of August.
DSHS hosted the Dripping Springs 4K Invitational on Saturday, Aug. 27, with 11 schools competing in the four divisions. The varsity girls finished second while their junior varsity counterparts won their division. The boys did not fare quite as well as the girls, and the boys’ JV team finished sixth.
