Cross Country goes to Islander Splash
The Dripping Springs Cross Country team once again made its yearly trek to participate in the Corpus Christi “Islander Splash.”
The opportunity to spend time on the beaches of Corpus Christi draws some of the best programs in the state for a couple of days of fun and sun, plus good competition. As usual, Dripping Springs showed their athletic mettle by placing well in all divisions. The top seven runners for the girls and boys competed in the Gold Division with each team placing second. The next seven runners entered the Large Schools Division. The girls placed eighth and boys seventeenth. The rest competed in the JV Division. The girls won their division and the boys eighth.
