Tigers do not take it as a given because they work very hard throughout the season to continue this tradition.

It is certainly the stamp of a successful program when one leaves a playoff meet and immediately makes room reservations for the next year. This is the procedure cross country coach, Marisa Tuzzi, has followed for many years now. It is a given the Tigers will earn the right to compete at the regional and state meets each year. However, one knows the Tigers do not take it as a given because they work very hard throughout the season to continue this tradition. Dripping Springs returned from Corpus Christi where they competed in the two divisions. Once again they had to butt heads with a former district member, Boerne Champion who took both titles. Among the 24 teams, the Lady Tigers took second and Tigers third as they make plans to run at the state meet held at Settler's Park in Round Rock on November 9. There were 175 girls and 183 boys competing.
