Baseball opens season at Georgetown Tourney
The Dripping Springs baseball team opened their season by playing in the Georgetown tourney.
There were mostly close games as they went 2-2 in the tourney. Corpus Christi Carroll matched the four runs they gave up the previous inning to go on and win the 6-5 contest. The Jersey Village game was given a boost with four runs in the second enroute to an 8-6 victory. Rockwall had their way in a 10-0 blanking. A three-run burst in the first staked the Tigers to a 5-3 win over Rockwall Heath. The schedule called for a game with Houston Episcopal but no result was found.
