Adult softball resumes normal schedule after rain

The sun came out and so did the summer league for the Tuesday night men's league as they were able to play a makeup night schedule and get in a regular night schedule as well. The Thursday night got to play as well but had a forfeit problem.

Tuesday standings: Sunset Canyon Baptist 3-0; Fighting Pharmers 3-0, DS Rentals Conglomerates 2-1; DS Electric Shockers 2-1; Baptist Bombers 1-1; Misfits 1-2; UnWanted 0-2; Slapnut Magoos 0-2; Chronic Offenders 0-3.

Monday scores: Sunset Canyon Baptist got off to a fast start with two wins. They shut down the Shockers 7-0 and then exploded on the Conglomerates 20-8. Fighting Pharmers kept pace with a pair of wins. They edged Misfits 10-9 and stopped Chronic Offenders 11-1. In other games, Conglomerates broke loose late to double Misfits 16-8 and Shockers eked past Chronic Offenders 8-7.

Tuesday scores: Shockers had the last say to overcome the Bombers 13-12. Fighting Pharmers scored six in the final inning to pull away from Slapnut Magoos 15-7. Sunset Canyon Baptist topped the Magoos 13-2. Misfits crossed the plate three times in the final at bat to edge out UnWanted 5-3. Conglomerates overcame a deficit late to take a 14-9 win over UnWanted.
