Grace Avonelle Lee Delger

Grace Delger, our beloved pixie-eyed, no-nonsense matriarch, having lived her 101 years to the max, set sail for heaven on June 4, 2020. She spent her final days as she spent them all, praising her family, sharing words of love and appreciation, praying to our Lord and Savior for salvation, commanding attention, and flirting with her darling nurses. Flirting with anyone of a male persuasion, really. Whenever she heard the word stubborn whispered near her, she would laser her bright blue eyes at the perpetrator and firmly say, “I am not stubborn, I am determined!” Having survived a heart attack at 86, a stroke at 100 and half-hip replacement surgery at 101, you would know she meant business.

Lynn Marie Fichtner

Lynn Marie Fichtner, of Driftwood, Texas passed away on May 23rd at the age of 60 after a long and courageous battle with brain cancer. She was born April 11th, 1960 in Houston, TX to Gavin Parrish & Ruth Bower Parrish.

Victoria Cazzell DeBerry

Victoria Cazzell DeBerry passed away peacefully at her home on May 5th, 2020 in the presence of her family and following a long illness not associated with current public health conditions. She was born in Syracuse, New York, June 5, 1943 to Richard Lee Cazzell and Gloria Homan Cazzell. Her father was not present for her first birthday, but celebrated on June 6, 1944 by painting “Happy Birthday Victoria” on the Higgins boat he shared with a landing party that landed on Omaha Beach during the Normandy invasion.

Grady Thomas Moore

On Friday May 22, 2020, Grady Thomas Moore left this life and went to be with the Lord. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Grady passed away peacefully at home in Dripping Springs, Texas. His loving wife of 62 years, Janice (Combs) Moore was with him in death just as she had been in life, right by his side. In the waning hours of his life he was surrounded by numerous family members and friends who sang, prayed, read scripture, and rejoiced in the hope found in Jesus.
