Leda Ruth Roselle

On Friday, March 27, 2020, Leda Ruth Roselle, passed away from our world. She was the loving wife of sixty-three years and is survived by her husband, Travis Eugene Roselle, from Austin, Texas. Leda is the mother of three children, Glenda and husband Eric Branch; Laurel and husband Tony Werner, and Steven and wife Susie...She passed away at the age of 82 in Dripping Springs, Texas, where she and her husband live on the original family homestead on Hamilton Pool Road, dating back to the mid-1800’s. There was no place in the world she would rather be...

On Friday, April 3, 2020, Michael King Waite, loving husband and father retired his body in his wife’s arms as his spirit remains strong in Christ. He lived here with us for 64 years.

Don Olan Young Jr.

Don Olan Young Jr., of Dripping Springs, Texas, went home to be with our Lord on February 28, 2020. He was born in Austin, Texas on February 6, 1953. Don was a loving husband, brother, father, and grandfather. He graduated from Dripping Springs High School in 1971 and served in the US Air Force from 1974 - 1978. He married the love of his life, Peggy Lee Young, in 1976 and together they have lived in their home in Dripping Springs since 1979. Don was a proud descendant of an Alamo Defender and was a member of the Sons of the Confederacy. As an avid outdoorsman, he loved to hunt and fish, and spend time in his garden. He also loved picking on his old guitars, but most of all he loved his family. Don is survived by wife, Peggy Lee Young; brother, Allan (Terri) Young; children, Tiffany Rasbury Burlison, Tim (Laura) Young, and Chris Young; grandchildren, Allison, Johnathon, Anavellen, Haley, Jackson; five great- grandchildren; and four nieces and nephews.

Virginia “June” Lea Crain Turner

Virginia Lea Crain Turner left this world to meet her beloved Savior February 13, 2020 at age 93. “June” as she was known, was preceded in death by her parents, Bowden Oliver Crain and Bertha Elizabeth Dysart, her husband Hal Turner and her brother Wallace Crain. Born and raised in Dallas Texas, she attended Sunset High School, where she met her future husband as a senior in 1944. Hal and June married on June 14, 1947 and moved to the Casa Linda area where they lived until 1981. Upon Hal’s retirement from the lumber business, they moved to Dripping Springs, TX. There they made many friends and were active in Friendship Baptist Church and the Dripping Springs community. June’s life was spent in devoted service to her family, her church and the Lord. She never met a stranger and always went out of her way to make people welcome. She was a wonderful cook with the true gift of hospitality.
