In its second week on the grounds of the historic Pound House Farmstead, the Dripping Springs Farmers Market has seen a dramatic increase in visitors, creating what some are calling a “fair-like” atmosphere.
The district race is tightening up for the Tigers as they took two more well-earned victories to make the move as the first round is being completed. First the Tigers outlasted the slugfest with Lehman and it took extra innings to come back for the 6-5 win over Seguin.
The most recent comment period on Dripping Springs’ new wastewater permit application ended last week, concluding with a public meeting held by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
The Old Hays County Jail has recently seen some activity for the first time in a while. Curious San Marcans need not worry as the jail is expected to see interior restorations of the historical building in the future.
