Women’s Club hosts city development speakers
The Dripping Springs Women’s Club will host three city development speakers for its Wednesday Jan. 16 luncheon, at 11:30 a.m., at the Terrace Club, 2600.
The ‘New Developments in Dripping Springs” January meeting is always the most popular program of the year, so reservations should be made early. We anticipate a capacity crowd,” Clairen Fellers said in the event’s press release.
The three scheduled speakers are:
• Pam Owens, president/CEO of the Dripping Springs Visitors Bureau, will give a rundown on newly opened and planned retail establishments.
• Jason Lutz, City of Dripping Springs Planning Director, will describe newly approved sub divisions, commercial enterprises, and plans for roads;
• Dave Edwards, chairman of the board of the Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone, will explain proposed plans for a new Town Center and old Fitzhugh Road, and
