Three new candidates file for City Council

At last report from the city, three new candidates and three incumbents have filed for the upcoming City of Dripping Springs City Council Election, which is scheduled for May 4. 

The filing deadline was Friday, Feb. 15. City council members are elected at-large and serve two- year staggered terms. 

The three places on the May 4 ballot are Place 1, Place 3, and Place 5. All three incumbents—Place 1 Taline Manassian; Place 3 Bill Foulds; and Place 5 Travis Crow— are seeking re-election. 

The three new faces to the city race are: Anthony Aristar running for Place 1; Stephen Randall running for Place 5; and Geoffrey Tahuahua running for Place 5.

Place 3 incumbent, Bill Foulds (and Mayor Pro Tem), is uncontested in his re-election bid.
