Snow Day at the Science Mill
Have fun at the Science Mill’s fifth annual “Snow Day,” on Saturday Jan. 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., as 25 tons of real snow convert the “Science & Art Park” into a winter wonderland.
Science Mill visitors will be able to lob snowballs and make snow angels in what has become an annual family tradition for some.
Visitors are encouraged to bring mittens or gloves to keep their hands warm while playing in the snow. “If a family couldn’t get away over the holidays to a winter retreat, but would still like the experience of snow for one day, our ‘Snow Day’ is a great way to give that experience to their kids,” Science Mill Visitor Associate Cheyanne Jackson said.
Snow Day includes admission to the Science Mill’s hands-on exhibits and 3D movie. The museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
In case of rain, the event will be postponed.
The Science Mill is located at 101 S. Ladybird Lane in Johnson City. For more information call (844) 263-6405, or visit sciencemill.org/upcoming-events-1/ .
