Smith named new director at Sodalis Senior Living

Sodalis Senior Living has named Teresa Smith as its new Executive Director for its Dripping Springs Memory Care facility. Sodalis provides care for “adults living with diminished cognitive and/or physical limitations.”

As the Executive Director, Smith will manage the day-to-day operations, sales initiatives, and staff management of the Dripping Springs facility.

“I am excited to work with a company that shares my passion for seniors and wants to make a true difference in their lives while sustaining their community’s culture,” Smith said. “As a former caregiver, I plan to help mentor my fellow team members, and use my skills from the various positions I’ve been a part of in this industry to help them grow.”

Smith has been a part of the senior living and healthcare industry since 2006 in various positions, rising in rank from caregiver to sales, operations and executive management roles. During her time as a Sales Director at an assisted living and memory care community, Smith sustained a 95 percent occupancy rate for two years.
