Senior community hosts memorial art and craft show

Ledgestone Senior Living held an art and craft show in remembrance of one of their residents, Sue McCord, on July 21.

Sue passed away three months ago. To celebrate and honor her life, Ledgestone staff hosted the art show and had a great turnout. 15 residents displayed their artwork or craftsmanship. Sue’s husband, Jerry Mc-Cord, lives at Ledgestone and was able to attend, along with his daughter and grand-daughters.

“Sue was a beloved member of our community,” says Laura Sullivan, activities director at Ledgestone. “She was an amazing woman and artist.”

The community plans on hosting an arts and crafts show annually in honor of Sue McCord in the future.
