Each week the Dripping Springs Century News with Thundering Paws Animal Sanctuary and Lizzy’s Hospice features four lovable animals that are eligible to be adopted.

Cleo

Cleo is a happy and healthy young lady who is searching for a family to call her own. She is incredibly friendly and loves to play with everyone and anything that looks like a toy - size or species does not matter to this girl. Sometimes she even shares her favorite squeaky toys or tennis balls with her friends. She is making good progress with training and she is quickly learning new tricks. Cleo needs to be in a family where she gets to stay active, as she loves to go for longer walks or even go for a run to spend some of that energy she has. She would also be an absolutely phenomenal hiking partner and make the trails far more enjoyable.

If you think you can keep up with this pup, she would be more than happy to let you try.

Monty

Monty is an incredibly sweet boy who loves everything and everyone. He is very easy going and wants to be best friends with every single dog he comes across. Monty has a ton of personality with just the right amount of sass and playfulness. He is also a gorgeous young man with a perfect amount of gray hairs on his snout to look just a little bit more handsome than the rest. He is neutered and up to date on all of his vaccinations so he is basically packed and ready to move out and in with his new family.

Monty would be perfect in any home willing to give him a chance to love and be loved.

Bella

Bella is an adult kitty, easy to care for, friendly but not needy. Her former people didn’t like her. She learned to cope by hiding, and swiping at people who treated her unkindly, without ever hurting anyone. She’s a pretty easygoing cat. She likes attention, but isn’t too demanding, and needs an adopter who isn’t demanding either. She enjoys a warm lap, or a warm friendly dog. If you do yoga or other floor exercises, she’ll reward you by rubbing against you affectionately; she seems to like having someone on the floor at her level. She’s a pretty cat.

Nero

Nero is one of the most beautiful cats you’ll ever see. Over time he has become less afraid of people, and likes people that he knows and who treat him well. He likes to be petted.
