PEC Weekend power outages

Power outages continued across the Pedernales Electric Cooperative’s service territory this weekend, however most outages have been repaired. 

PEC said in a press release, “Our crews have been working throughout the night to restore power to members. In some cases, downed power lines, flooding and pole fires have created safety hazards for lineworkers, making it difficult to provide an estimated time of repair. As those issues are addressed, our crews will work safely and quickly to get power restored.”
As a result of these power problems, some homes may have experienced their circuit breakers being tripped. “I’ve had over 20 calls in one day about electrical problems,” Ron Adair, a Dripping Springs based electrician, said.
