Leadership Dripping Springs taking applications

Leadership Dripping Springs is currently taking applications for its 2019 class, with an application cut-off date of Monday Dec.

Leadership Dripping Springs is hands-on, eight-month course hosted by the Dripping Springs Chamber of Commerce, designed to introduce residents to multifaceted aspects of the community that make up Dripping Springs. It is patterned after courses offered by the Chambers of Commerce in cities such as Austin and Dallas.

The 2019 program will kick off with a retreat at Camp Lucy on Jan. 9, 10; with Feb. through Aug. monthly meeting dates of Tuesdays. The current program itinerary topics are listed as Kick-off/orientation, education, health & social services, government, economic development/tourism, non-profit/leadership, infrastructure, and project report/graduation.
