County Clerk Liz Gonzalez Retires

Hays County Courthouse, San Marcos, TX – Liz Q. Gonzalez, who has served as County Clerk since 2011, is retiring following 25 years of service to Hays County. She began her career at Hays County in 1993 as a Deputy Clerk for Clerk Ronnie Dannelley, and in 2007 became Chief Deputy Clerk for Clerk Linda C. Fritsche. She also served Nueces County as a Deputy Clerk prior to moving to Hays County.
She was presented with a mantel clock by the Commissioners Court on Dec. 18.
