On Jul. 9, The City of Dripping Springs ordered that all work be stopped on the Mark Black wedding venue being built at 130  W. Concord Circle in Driftwood.

Previously, on Jun. 3, the City has put a stop work order on a portion of the venue after a city engineer determined that “the work being done did not match the approved site plan,” during a visit to the property.

The Jul. 9 “Notice of Violation” issued by Aaron Reed, a Code Enforcement & Construction Inspector for the city, states “You are hereby ordered to cease and desistfrom the violation cited below, and to stop workon the above-described property until authorized by the City in writing to recommence and proceed with the work… You are in violation of the City of Dripping Springs Code of Ordinances: Volume II, Chapter 28, Section 04.011 (g) Revisions to Site Development Permit.”

The “Notice of Violation,” also asks that a “completed Site Development Permit revision” be submitted to the City.
