Boo at the Zoo
Boo at the Zoo are funfilled evening for ghosts and goblins of any age. Come dressed in your Halloween finest (no adult masks, please) and enjoy our Zoowide event including the Zoo bedecked in Halloween spookiness, our nocturnal animals, an eerie train ride and unlimited passes through our mansion. Tickets to certain special items within Boo at the Zoo have limited seating. It’s that time of year again! Dripping Springs United Methodist Church’s JBQ program will be holding the annual pumpkin patch again this year at the corner of RR 12 and Hwy 290 Oct 8-30th. Friends Foundation BBQ Fundraiser @ Salt Lick
The Friends Foundation will host their 25th Annual BBQ Fundraiser at The Salt Lick’s Pecan Grove at 18200 RM 1826 in Driftwood, on Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 5 p.m. to 9p.m. Guests will enjoy an evening of live music, Salt Lick BBQ, and more. Friends Foodie Fundraiser/ 1st Annual Book Sale
The Friends of the Dripping Springs Community Library will hold their first Friends Foodie Fundraiser on Friday October 12, from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Wilson AC & Appliance. Texas dining and square dancing at the Dripping Springs United Methodist Church on Saturday, Oct 13 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.; bring your partner & get ready to doe-si-doe! Divorce is scary, but it doesn’t have to be
Women in Confidence Program: The Dripping Springs Community Library (DSCL) will host a presentation by Wealth Advisor Amy Colton and Attorney at Law Jennifer Cochran-Green entitled “Divorce is scary, but it doesn’t have to be,” from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday October 13. The presentation is part of the library’s Fall “Women in Confidence Program,” held every second Saturday of the month during the Fall. DSCL is located at 501 Sportsplex Rd. St. Martin de Porres Fall Festival
St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church will hold its Fall Festival on Sunday October 28, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Music will be provided by Buzz and the Blue Cats, and the fall fest will also have food and drink, games, face painting, and a silent auction. In addition, there will be a raffle for three Visa Gift Cards in the denominations of $5,000, $3,000, and $1,0000. Raffle tickets are $10 ea. Or 6 tickets for $50.
