Hays County deputies seek information on stolen utility vehicle

The Hays County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating a utility vehicle stolen from a business in Buda earlier this month.

According to the sheriff's office, an unidentified suspect or suspects stole a 2022 Club Car XRT 1550 SE utility task vehicle from US Foods on Firecracker Drive at approximately 1:50 a.m. on June 3.

Investigators said surveillance footage shows the suspect or suspects were driving a white pickup truck at the time of the theft.

The stolen vehicle is a rental unit from United Rentals and has multiple company markings. Authorities said the UTV's last known location was in Travis County near the 11600 block of Old Lockhart Road.

The case remains under investigation.
