Construction continues on Dripping Springs ISD's future Driftwood Springs High School campus, with district officials reporting significant progress across multiple phases of the project. According to a recent construction update, grading work is 99% complete, approximately 75% of the geothermal underground system has been installed and three-quarters of the building slab has been poured. Crews have also completed all foundation piers, finished about 25% of the tilt-wall construction, laid the gymnasium foundation and begun installing kitchen infrastructure. Work is also underway on the main water line that will serve the campus. The new high school is scheduled to open for the 2028-29 school year. Photos courtesy of DSISD
